About the Role
Raintree Systems is hiring an IT Security Analyst to join their remote-first technology team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about cybersecurity, network safety, and IT systems management. As an IT Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, investigating, and resolving security incidents while promoting strong security practices across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor systems for security breaches and coordinate incident response with the security team.
- Serve as the first point of contact for security-related service desk tickets and user requests.
- Assist in analyzing and mitigating vulnerabilities, and support enterprise security systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, NIST, ISO, and other frameworks.
- Review IT security trends and provide recommendations to improve security posture.
- Participate in audits, risk assessments, and awareness training programs.
What They're Looking For
- 0–4 years of experience or recent college graduate in IT or cybersecurity.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of EDR tools, identity access management, application security, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and remain calm under pressure.
Work Requirements
- Reliable, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace with a high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and sit for extended periods during work hours.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
